Exxxotica Expo

We really didn’t know what we’d find there, but knew it could be fun. So James and I set out last fall to the Exxxotica Expo being held in New Jersey, and are glad we did.  Arriving at our hotel Friday night, it seemed too late to do anything more but find the place so we’d know where to go tomorrow – easier said than done without a GPS in the car.

Since we planned only for Saturday’s admission, we wouldn’t be able to get inside that night for a preview… or so we thought.  By time we found the building, it was within an hour of closing, and one of the organizers let us in so we could take a look around.  That was really nice. Besides, he knew we’d be coming the next day.

The space was huge, with porn and talent on display everywhere. Wow. Booth after booth occupied by this group or that person promoting their product, and all behaving very friendly.  And cameras were not only allowed inside, but actually encouraged. Very cool.  Needless to say, we took advantage of that. After a quick walk-through, we had to go.

First thing on Saturday, I went over to give a hug to Big Max, and say “hi” to Natasha Star and Effie Daniels, both of whom I met during a shoot with D.Wise in Boston a few months earlier.  Then it was off to explore!

We attended several seminars held in “rooms” that consisted of cloth curtains that did nothing to hold back the din of the crowded exhibit hall, so it was something of a chore to hear presenters.

Karen Kougar gave a light-hearted talk about recruiting “cubs” to fuck, after which we spent some time talking. Despite assurances that we would stay in touch, the lovely MILF stopped responding after an email or two.  It could have been fun. Oh well.

After a packed afternoon and evening there, Hubby and I stopped on the way back to the hotel for some great food at a place we stumbled upon while navigated the unfamiliar streets. We wanted to get into Manhattan the next day, so then headed back to rest up.
